Horse Welfare

The horse industry has recognised the importance of Horse Welfare and the need to develop Horse Welfare Officers to oversee the welfare (and well-being) of horses at their events.    

Organisers now have a new toolkit to help them ensure the welfare of horses at community events.

The Australian Horse Welfare & Well-being Toolkit has been developed by the Australian Horse Industry Council (AHIC) to assist the work of horse welfare officers.
